Welcome to Speakers Series
Genealogy Workshops
The 250th Celebration Committee has partnered with the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society of New England to offer free Genealogy Workshops to our community. They will be held at the Library’s community room on April 12th, June 14th, and September 13th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The AAHGS-NE will teach us how to use Family Search and start the journey of discovering our ancestors. Please bring your own laptop or tablet for these workshops. Reflection Stories
This is a community wide event that celebrates who we are. Mansfield Cable Access will record and share your stories to celebrate who you are and how we are a community of many stories. Please share a story of one of your ancestors and how they have impacted you. As the town celebrates its Sestercentennial, we want to reflect on our individual histories and what that means for us today. We want to remember our roots, honor our ancestors, and celebrate each other and who we are.
